This was our full day in Crater Lake. We started the Rim drive. We were shooting for the ranger led walk at Plaikni Falls at 2pm. We made a lunch to take with us since once you start the Rim drive there is nothing until you get back. We did make the ranger walk even with all the stops and lunch in between. Here are some pics we took.
We got back to the trailer and my miles left gauge said 80 miles. The workers at the store said there was an Indian Casino with fuel about 30 miles down the road that we were leaving on. And it was downhill! That made me feel much better. We had some leftovers for dinner, watched a movie (almost all the way through) and went to the evening ranger talk. Came back and finished the movie and that finished the day. It was a full day regardless of the little that I wrote here.
